SUMMERSIDE, PEI, March 20, 2010 - This year's Atlantic Minor Midget Hockey Championship Gold Medal Game will be all Prince Edward Island affair, with the host Summerside Capitals challenging the defending champion Charlottetown Abbies in Sunday's 1:00pm game.

The Fredericton Caps from Hockey New Brunswick will take on the Antigonish Bulldogs from Hockey Nova Scotia in the 10:00am Bronze medal game. All action will take place at Credit Union Place in Summerside, PE.

The Abbies again finished first in the standings following round robin play with a 3-0-1 record while the Capitals were second with a 2-0-2 record. The two teams battled to a 3-3 draw in round robin.

The Nova Scotia champion Antigonish Bulldogs finished third with two wins and two losses while the New Brunswick champion Fredericton Caps only managed one win in four round robin games. St. John's Arbitrators finished out the playoffs failing to earn a win although they did battle the Capitals to a 2-2 draw.
